The Administrative Office of the Courts announced today that a vacancy exists in the office of the Bourbon County circuit court clerk, effective July 30. The remainder of the unexpired term for this office will be filled in the next regular election on Nov. 6, 2007.
Filing deadline for this office with the Bourbon County Clerk is Tuesday, Aug. 14, at 4 p.m. EDT. To file for this office a candidate must have successfully completed the Kentucky Circuit Court Clerks Examination. The qualifying examination for this vacancy will be given by the Administrative Office of the Courts on Thursday, Aug. 9, at 1 p.m. EDT, at the Administrative Office of the Courts, located at 100 Millcreek Park in Frankfort.
This is the only date and location for the examination.
