The Kentucky Supreme Court has scheduled oral arguments in the Capitol at Frankfort on April 9 & 10, 2013.
Five cases are set to be heard dealing with the following issues —
- criminal procedure and the right to counsel;
- arbitration clauses and if cost prohibitiveness of arbitration renders agreement unconscionable;
- FELA claim and plaintiff’s failure to present expert testimony regarding railroad practices;
- criminal law, probation revocation and offender accountability statute (KRS 439.3106);
- county wide no smoking ordinance in Bullitt County on Appeal.
