I have always loved the principle behind the “starfish” story. That a positive difference, no matter how small is always a difference in the lives of those directly affected. It may not be a world changer, or even a day changer or a short uplifting moment. But, the unintended consequence is always something positive, some good, something helpful – for the giver or the receiver.
