George of the Taylor Circuit Court which held Lavit in contempt of court and fined him $825.001 for his failure to appear in court on November 10, 2003, for the trial of Commonwealth of Kentucky v. Catina Brockman. Held the trial court erred by finding Lavit in indirect criminal contempt of court without allowing him to have a jury trial.
