Kentucky Court of Appeals to hear oral arguments in two cases Jan. 14 in Stanton

FRANKFORT, Ky. — The Kentucky Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments in a civil case and a worker’s compensation case Wednesday, Jan. 14, at the Powell County Courthouse in Stanton. Proceedings are open to the public.

A three-judge panel consisting of Court of Appeals Judges Denise G. Clayton, Joy A. Moore and Janet L. Stumbo will hear oral arguments starting at 10 a.m. in the civil case Holly Creek Production Corporation v. Robert Rose, which is on appeal from Wolfe County. It will hear arguments in Maimouna Barry v. U.S. Airways Group, Inc. et al., a worker’s compensation case, at 10:45 a.m. Proceedings will take place in the Circuit Courtroom of the courthouse, which is located at 525 Washington St.
